Nicolas Thiffault-Chouinard

LAWYER

Mtre Thiffault-Chouinard holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B. 2018) and a Master of Laws in Information and Communication Technology Law (LL.M. 2020) from the Faculty of Law at the Université de Montréal. He has experience working with lawyers who practice family mediation, as well as with a company that produces and finances audiovisual projects. 

Mtre Thiffault-Chouinard finished his legal training program at École du Barreau in 2020. Subsequently, he worked as an articling student in Ahuntsic-Cartierville.

Called to the Quebec Bar in 2020, Mtre Thiffault-Chouinard practiced civil litigation, administrative litigation and family law for two years before joining the LDB team in 2023.

As a member of the LDB team, Mtre Thiffault-Chouinard practices in civil and commercial litigation, and is involved in numerous cases. He handles litigation files on a daily basis, drafts legal opinions and represents the interests of the clients of our firm. 

Mtre Thiffault-Chouinard has represented clients in front of various judicial and administrative bodies, including the Superior Court of Quebec and the Court of Quebec.

A skilled communicator, Mtre Thiffault-Chouinard hosted a radio show on legal and judicial news on CISM 89.3 FM from 2017 to 2023. In addition, he authored various articles for university student journals.

With his availability, attention to detail, and attentive listening skills, Mtre Thiffault-Chouinard provides clients with practical and efficient solutions to fulfill their requirements.
